I got my postcard from you yesterday! I love the New England picture and learning more about you… I hope you get yours soon. (Isn’t this fun?) I’m going to do something special with these little cards. I just haven’t figured out what yet. If anyone knows a neat way to display postcards, let me know.

I was raised by a tom boy. I wore brown corduroy pants instead of dresses. As a little girl, I never wore a bow the size of my head in my hair.
While all my friends had long flowing hair, my mom kept mine in a page boy cut. I never had a box of feather boas and silken gloves to play dress up with.
My dress up clothes consisted of stuff my dad bought me at the military supply...

I can't sleep
I ate an entire stocking-shaped cherry lollipop and now all the sugar has me wide awake. the house is dark. my mom is asleep. brent is asleep and I’m left awake. i want to sew buttons on all the garments missing them at this moment, but it’s too dark to find my sewing kit. I want to stick my head out the window and talk to the busy laughing people who walk below, but that’s too...

We had kabobs for dinner.
