This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

I had the good fortune of meeting this fantastic woman in person yesterday.  Kristin and I had been exchanging messages via the blogworld for some time and decided that we lived too close to one another not to be real life friends. Let me tell you this, she has a mile wide “joker smile” which is the same kind of smile my husband has. (the very best kind to have, in my opinion). She is instantly warm and charming. And her Tennesse-born sourthern accent was music to my ears. Follow her tumblr blog Grace in Small Things… or get bit by the travel bug by visiting her Travel blog, Camels and Chocolate.

And p.s. Kristin - I’m writing this from my home office wearing my bathrobe too! hahaha

This is what your “work” clothes likely look like if your office is at home. I’m usually in a robe much of the day until I leave to go run or head into the city for an event. I found this supremely comfortable robe at, of all places, a hotel in Carmel. They were the in-room beauties and had them for purchase at the front desk, so I treated myself to a birthday present. I love, love, love it—though I feel like someone should be serving me mint tea on a silver platter. Rather, you can see all the laundry piling up in the background that I must tackle sometime before heading to New York on Friday…
