This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

This is an advertistement for the use of contraception.
Featuring Brent and I. (We did a  photo shoot with fab SF photographer, Nicole Gerulat, a while back for her stock photography company)
This apparently is in this month’s Australian Cosmopolitan Magazine. (Who wants to mail me a copy, pretty please?)
and it has had me laughing since it landed in my inbox from a reader today (Hi Melissa F. - you rock!)
I went to the website (I was curious)
and while I was there, I took the “What kind of contraceptive is best for you quiz”
(Why? Because I don’t know why. I just did.)
and most of the quiz was ho-hum and I stopped before finishing.
BUT! there was one question that was so ridiculously Australian that I feel I must highlight it here.
It said “Do you participate in any overnight activities?”
and among the answer choices was BUSH WALKING!!!!
I don’t know what Bush Walking is - but when I finally get my butt to Australia, I fully intend to participate in this activity. (Someone care to enlighten me? Does it involve a flashlight and a machete - please say yes)
I was hoping there were also questions regarding cooking on the barbie and Koala bears - but no such luck.
So there’s my entertainment for the day.
Without even knowing it, we did our small part in convincing fashion-conscious Australians to practice birth control.
Can I put that on my resume?
Love,
M
