Every time I go home to Raleigh, I am filled to the brim with sentimental remembrances. My years of exploring NC State University’s campus weighed down with a thousand literaterature books, my happy years in the Leadenhall house with my very best friends, falling in love with my husband on the sidewalks of downtown, and starting our lives together in our sweet little townhome off Kaplan.
It’s a funny thing to stay in a hotel when you know a city so well. Their fancy carpet and the unfamiliar smell of the hallways were the only foreign thing I encountered all week.
