This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

My neighbors think I’m trying to steal their cat.

I miss my Ellie Belle so much and because of it, I have an urge to run up and snuggle every cat I come across. My neighbors have a gray tabby that sits on the wall between our place and theirs and meows over and over again.

The cat might as well be yelling “Hey Melissa! I’m out here! Come and pet me!”

So every time, I walk outside and start saying “Here kitty, come here kitty kitty”

and sometimes it gets close enough to let me pet it through the fence and I am a happy girl.

But the past two times I’ve gone out there and called to it when I hear it meowing, the neighbor (who can’t see me through the fence) has been like “Kitty, come here right now” and has whisked the cat away from the fence and puts it inside.

This lady is giving me a complex. Am I the creepy neighborhood cat stalker?
