One of my favorite things to do is check things off a list. It makes me feel so accomplished! While I work away at my computer and take care of a few things here at the house, I’ve had the handsome one out taking care of all sorts of little to-dos that need to be checked off before we fly to North Carolina tomorrow.

In the last two hours we have accomplished:

* A fresh “1930’s Bootlegger” haircut for B (man does he look handsome!)

* A beautiful birthday trinket ordered and shipped to NC for my sister-in-law

* A grass green colored suitcase stuffed  with happy summer dresses and wide brim hats

* A list of drs, and important info for all the kind friends and dog walkers taking care of our pooches while we are gone

* A freshly pressed vintage seersucker suit for B to wear to our friend’s wedding next Sunday. (Between the new haircut and the rockin’ suit - he is going to look like a million bucks. Can’t wait to walk in on his arm)

Check. check. check. and check.

The only thing not checked off? My little blog may be a bit neglected while I’m gone.

I promise to blog from my blackberry (you gotta love those crappy camera phone pictures!) as often you can.

and be sure to check Dear Baby on Friday night - we’ll announce if we’re going the route of sugar and spice or puppy dog tails. (And you guys are still split 50-50 on your opinions of our gender poll)
