Vacation Highlights: North Carolina is famous for its gorgeous coast - and it truly is worthy of the acclaim. I’ve spent every summer since I was a little girl dancing in the salty breeze with sunburned cheeks. We Carolinians love our beaches passionately and make a mass exodus for them everytime we happen upon a 3 day weekend or a few extra days off. This trip was no different - sunburned shoulders (despite my obsessive application of spf 30) and the smell of the ocean, sand, and youth made it impossible not to get punchdrunk on such a lovely, familiar place.
