This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

It seems like everywhere I’ve turned this month, I’ve heard ladies raving about the stylish dresses available on Shabby Apple. On top of offering great clothes, the online dress boutique donates 5% of their profits to Unitus, an organization that provides micro-loans to women living in third world countries.  These micro-loans, (sometimes as small as $5) can provide women at the bottom of the economic pyramid with the money to buy the tools, materials, or training they need to make a living for their families.
I snapped the picture above last weekend as we were headed to a happy hour for our newly engaged friends in the Mission. Megahn looked so fantastic in the Shabby Apple Slate dress,  paired with a dark scarf belt and her bright orange clutch. I love any company that allows you to look good and do good at the same time!
