This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

The weekend in review: An hour later, I found myself back at that table again and I tried my dream shoes on. They fit like a glove. The lady who was selling them told me I must be cinderella.  I tried to talk her down on the price (no luck). They were just too much of a splurge when we’re saving for the baby (and I already treated myself to a blue party dress the day before)
I held them in my arms for a good ten minutes. I told them over and over again that they were the most beautiful shoes I’d ever seen. I imagined all the ways I could wear them… and then I put them down, looked back at them longingly one time, and walked away.
To make myself feel better, I came home and bought my soon-to-be baby an adorable pair of little moccasins at a much more reasonable price.
