Saturday night we attended a dinner party at Ruth and Ajit’s new apartment in Lower Haight. They recently moved closer to us and into a divine late 1800’s victorian with ceilings that touch the sky. The menu: balsamic/apricot glazed cornish hens, spinach salad, rosemary herbed potatoes, corn on the cob, vegetable/pesto ravioli and for dessert - chocolate cream pie and strawberry shortcake cookies. I love small get togethers with friends and meeting new folks over platefuls of good food!
