This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

Last night, Kate and I attend Teatro Zinzanni on the Embarcadero waterfront. I didn’t know what to expect but we were told it was a combination dinner theater/cabaret/cirque du soliel type of show. I wore a vintage dress I picked up at the bluebird sidewalk sale for a cool $5 last weekend (and hurray for high waists that are very forgiving of my growing bump) and Kate wore a breezy, empire waisted dress she picked up in a boutique in Martha’s Vineyard.
I was so excited to find that the bar offered an amazing non-alchoholic cocktail made with fresh crushed berries, sparkling soda, and lime juice - it was the first time in months I didn’t have to resort to ordering a ginger ale when out for drinks with my girlfriends!
