This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

Live at the Apple Store: Brent Jordan!

Reblogging for all you San Francisco peoples who’ve inquired about Brent’s show schedule. Next Friday night we’re getting dolled up and rocking it out somewhere between the MACS and the Ipods!

See you there!

goldenmeg:

A San Francisco songwriter equally inspired by the skirty twirl of a pretty girl as he is by the salty pirate stories of his wild youth, BRENT JORDAN plays his original songs at the Union Square APPLE Store FRIDAY, 9-18, from 7-8 pm.

This musician’s rough tenor ebbs and flows with the intensity of his lyrics, starting deep and gentle for a love song to a “Pretty Little Thief” then moving to an elaborately gravelly tone for the resentment and loss of “House Burned Down.” A wholly self-taught guitarist and singer, you gotta hear him for yourself and see if you can decipher the influences born from a North Carolina childhood filled with Bluegrass, Southern rock, and Motown soul.

Don’t miss this (free!) sneak peak of SF’s own talented singer/songwriter Brent Jordan.

Location: Apple Store, 2nd Floor, 1 Stockton, at Market

Date: Friday, September 18

Time: 7:00 to 8:00 PM
