My infatuation with birdcages runs deep. They hang from my ceiling, decorate my shelves, and will remain immortalized on my skin… but I am specific in their presentation. The door must ALWAYS be open. An open birdcage is a reminder to live life with intensity and joy, a reminder to fear not what exists outside your realm of comfort, a reminder to seek, to find, to experience.
