I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

I convinced Brent that I was more than able to do some of the more vertical trails and after a lecture about my choice in footwear (these ballet flats happen to be some of the most comfortable shoes I own… so what if they provide zero traction or ankle support)

We were off and climbing up the paths. We took a lot of breaks and would find a fallen log or  green area to rest and take in the sounds around us.  Since no one was around to mind, we snuck in a little middle of the forest smooch sesh too.
