This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

I bought this cardigan for Brent’s birthday. (He only reads my blog about once a month so my secret is safe) We decided since he is going to be turning 29 and becoming someone’s dad soon that he needs to wear distinguished looking cardigans more often. Next thing I know, he’ll start smelling like Old Spice and wear glasses on the tip of his nose while he reads the morning paper.
I really love watching his face change and age. The first time I laid eyes on him, he was 22 and so young looking. The first time I got right up close enough to his mouth to kiss him, he had just turned 24 and already he had these beautiful laugh lines at the corner of his eyes.
These days there are a handful of gray hairs in his beard stubble and I count them outloud and tell him he is going to be the most handsome old man in the whole world one day.
