This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

I swear, Black clothing is a pregnant woman’s best friend.  While I’ve always been a fan of bright colors and mixing and matching patterns, the larger I get, the more I realize that I’m sort of starting to resemble a hot air balloon. Brent and I had a full night last evening, first attending a fundraiser for The Imagine Bus Project (an awesome non-profit that brings art programs to inner-city school children) and then over to the Union Room for Brent’s show.  I needed something classic, comfortable and versatile enough to go from cocktail to a music venue.
