I snapped this picture of Brent in the cab on the way downtown because this is pretty much my husband in a nutsell. He always has a pen and a mini notebook in his back pocket. He’ll hear a word, a phrase, or see something that resonates with him and he’ll whip out his little notebook and write it down.

There are pages and pages of small collections of words and he often uses them as inspiration when creating new songs.
