This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

Oh halloween. How I love you.
The crisp fall air, the crunching leaves under my feet, the absurd amounts of candy.
This is the first year ever when I do not have a costume picked out. I always make my costume and this year I’m completely stumped…. I’m refusing to fall prey to the stereotypical pregnant lady costumes (nuns, painted pumpkin bellies and the like) - so I’m just going to throw something together when the time comes. I figure I’ve amassed enough tutus, gloves, hats, and funky accessories to come up with SOMETHING. But based on the severity of my “pregnancy brain” as of late, don’t be surprised if I show up as some sort of dejected bag lady/fairy cast off.
Tonight we are kicking things off early with a little Jordan Family Halloween Celebration. The Plan:
1. Pumpkin Carving
2. Homecooked Dinner (I’m thinking soup, crusty bread and grilled veggies… but if you’ve got a great fall-inspired recipe - send it my way!)
3. Watching It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on ABC, (8pm/7 central)
Can’t wait!
Love,
M
