This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

Word has gotten out with my girlfriends that I have a slight obsession with braiding hair and they’ve been putting me to work lately. I grew up perfecting my technique on My Little Ponies and Barbies.
I’ve always had baby fine hair that makes the saddest little braids you’ve ever seen - so having best friends with thick, long hair and a love of twists and twirls is working out quite nicely.
A few weeks ago, I spent the better part of an evening braiding my friend Jenny’s super long, blonde hair into twists and on Christmas day, I snapped the picture above after I had fun with Megahn’s. Oh, how I wish I had long, luxurious locks of my own!
Love,
M
