This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

ayaros asked: How did you and Natasha meet? :)

We worked together at a draught house/bar in college. I thought she was CRAZY when I first met her. She was one of the wildest, balls-to-the-wall girls I’d ever met.  It wasn’t friendship at first sight for us. I thought she was nice, but I wasn’t sure to make of her.  I had a birthday party and she came and she was being her usual wild/fun self and I actually thought she was hitting on Brent. ahahaha.  We laugh about that now. I think at the time I was intimidated by her because she was so flirty and exotic and limitless.

I’m not really sure what sparked it, but we eventually started hanging out all of the time. I was always a little to cautious and she taught me to just go and do in the moment. Some of the craziest things I’ve ever done were by her side.

She is truly my sister. She knows more about me than just about anyone - and it’s crazy to see how far we’ve come together. We used to be these girls:

and now we’re both married and mothers.  We’re in a phase now of making good decisions and being reasonable - but I’m totally confident that once these two little girls of ours grow up and leave home, we’ll be two old, batty ladies doing ridiculous, wild things for the sake of the experience.
