Brent is a full time musician (playing gigs in town, writing music for movies/tv) an occasional apprentice for an artist here in SF and these days, ramping up to be a full time dad too. He’s going to be taking care of Everly during the day when I go back to work in March. He usually plays shows in the evenings, so it works out well with our schedules.
While I have a job that secures our health benefits and major monthly expenses - Brent is the one who really keeps our household together - He makes the best coffee every morning, raises the blinds, puts on an old record, washes the dishes, walks the dogs, brings me lunch, goes grocery shopping and soon enough he’ll be bottle feeding and changing diapers too.
I feel quite lucky to be married to such a domestic boy. More than anything, he spreads love and fun into every corner of our little flat - and that’s worth way more than some high paying job that would keep him away from us every day.
