This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

anamated asked: I like kids but I've never really desired having my own to be honest but since following your dearbaby blog, I've adopted a more positive attitude about that possibility. Through your posts, I've grown to understand how precious having a child can be, aside from any struggles it might bring. My question is, did you always want to start a family?

You know, as far as I can remember, I always wanted to be a mom. I never really had a “baby crazy” period where I was consumed with getting pregnant - but I knew that one way or another I wanted to be a mother.

Even though I’ve been blessed with having a biological child, and hope to have atleast a couple more - Brent and I feel pretty strongly about adopting and hope to add atleast one or two children (maybe an older child with less of a chance of being adopted otherwise)

We’re not trying to pull a Brangelina or anything - but we like the idea of a big family.
