This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

I have spent large quantities of time over the course of my maternity leave in leggings and oversized shirts - and so when the opportunity arises to get a bit gussied, I take it! My dad and step-mother were visiting this week and since Everly is almost 7 weeks old, we felt she was finally old enough that both of us could leave her for a little while. (It was more an issue of us being ready to leave her, than her being ready to leave us)
We decided to check out Central Parc Bistro, this fab little french restaurant that open 4 blocks from our front door. I gushed a bit even as I called to make our reservation as the women on the phone rolled the word “Parc” off her tongue in a lovely French accent.
