This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

True story.
Last Thursday afternoon I was in JFK airport and was standing in line at Starbucks to get a chai tea before my flight.
Tracy Morgan was in front of me.
I tried to say something cool and engaging but really it was more like
“Is it weird to have people staring at you all the time?”
and he said “When they look at me. I just look right back.”
(he said it in his Tracy Morgan voice that kind of made me want to laugh because everything he says sounds like a punchline)
but what do you say to that sort of reasoning? So I just nodded in my best “yeah, yeah I get what your saying” way
and then I asked him where he was headed and he said Virginia.
Then he asked me where I was headed and I said North Carolina.
and then it was his turn to order.
and when I picked up my chai tea at the counter I said ” Safe travels Tracy”
and he said “Yeah, you too girl”
and even though I forced Tracy Morgan to have a meaningless 3 minute conversations with me while waiting for his latte, it made me happy because from now on, whenever we are watching 30Rock I can be that annoying girl who announces “I MET HIM ONCE!” to anyone who hasn’t heard the story.
