This blog has been a lot of things. A love story. A new adventure. The journey of a women becoming comfortable with who she is and what she believes in.

I don't write here as often as I used to, but the stories I've left on these pages have made me who I am. I come back occasionally to put down thoughts and stories.

To me, dogwoods represent the best kind of day in the south - lazy afternoons at my grandparents house, rocking in the hammock with a belly full of homecooked food… Waving to people that passed by on the country roads while the paper thin flowers of the blooming dogwoods fluttered in the wind.
ahhh, I love North Carolina in the springtime.

My favorite is white dogwood flowers, but they also come in red and pink.
